#EventRecap: WiLD Splash 2016

Headlining artists Lil Wayne, Fabolous, and Yo Gotti all took the stage for the 16th annual WiLD Splash concert in Clearwater, FL. The sold out concert also had artists Lil Dicky, Kodak Back, JR Castro, and Dougie F. It was an event that you couldn't miss!

WiLD 94.1 has done it yet again by putting together the biggest spring break event in the bay area! There was never a dull moment, especially in between sets; with music provided by The Bomb Squad along with performances by the Club Skye Dancers and the StudioDancers. Each artist gave the crowd an unforgettable performance which left them wanting more!

Dougie F. was the first to hit the stage opening up with his latest single "On Right Now." He then went into the crowd to sing "Birthday" to a lucky fan. Dougie also stuck around after his set to take pictures. He was not the only one, however, who had a lot of interaction with the audience. Lil Dicky took it to a whole other level by bringing a fan on stage and giving her a lap dance! The girl didn't leave empty handed though; Dicky also gave her flowers.

JR Castro delivered an amazing performance as well. He was accompanied by his back up dancers while he sung his hit single "Get Home (Get Right)." The crowd went wild when he gave his rendition of Usher's song "Nice and Slow." The audience also went crazy for Kodak Black. Fans waited in anticipation for him to hit the stage and started chanting his name. A few minutes after he came on, they started rapping the lyrics to "No Flockin" as he stood on stage, with arms crossed, taking it all in.

Yo Gotti showed up and showed out; performing his hit records "I know," "Yayo," and of course "Down In the DM." Throughout his performance, he mentioned his new album Art of Hustle which is out now and can be downloaded on iTunes.

Fabolous fulfilled his promise to come back to Tampa and perform. He was scheduled to perform for the H.I.T. Music Festival, however, there was an issue with the promoters paying him along with a few other artists (more info). He expressed his gratitude in an Instagram post thanking WiLD 94.1 for putting the show together.

Lil Wayne was the last act to hit the stage. He took a trip with his fans down memory lane by performing a few of his hit songs off of the Carter series such as; "Go DJ," "A Milli," and "Lollipop." Wanye also performed "Steady Mobbin," "Truffle Butter," and closed out the show with "No Worries." By the crowds reaction, one could say his performance was unforgettable and hands down one of the best performances of the night.

The overall turnout was absolutely amazing and left people wanting to relive the experience and excited for what's in store for next year!
